11th Investment Data & Technology Summit

25 August 2026

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

Australia’s largest, most well-attended and regarded ‘Investment Data & Technology Summit’ returns in 2026 for its 11th annual event, held in Sydney on August 25.

The purpose of the event is to discuss how institutions can manage the evolving role of data and technology in investment management. It examines both front office data and technology use cases and considerations, as well as organisational themes such as data governance, technology architecture and business efficiency.

Launched in 2016, the ‘IDT Summit’ is firmly established in the calendar and attended by over 250 C-level and senior executives from key asset managers, insurers and large asset owner organisations each year. It is the largest independent forum of its type for the Australian investment industry, and offers a variety of international and local speaking talent along with unrivalled peer discussion and opportunities for idea generation.

Following the success of the format in recent years events, Fund Business will again host its leading investment analytics / ‘Risk and Performance Summit’ – alongside and as part of the broader IDT Summit. This offers expanded content, along with a joint networking area – in short a larger forum and expo, catering to both the consumers and managers of investment data and technology.

PLEASE NOTE: attendance is restricted to investment management firms only.
