Erica Clark

Erica Clark has dedicated over 20 years to working in governance and legal roles within the financial services industry, with a deep focus on superannuation and funds management. She currently leads Insignia Financial’s Office of the Responsible Entity (ORE), a unique and pioneering governance office in Australian financial services. The ORE supports the Board of Directors for four responsible entities, overseeing more than $200 billion in funds under management (FUM) in a highly complex funds management environment.
Throughout her career, Erica has developed extensive experience in navigating the intricacies of large-scale funds management businesses. She has been actively involved in significant transformation initiatives, including the consolidation of five superannuation funds and over one hundred managed investment schemes at Insignia Financial. Erica also played a key role as the lead lawyer in the successful completion and integration of ANZ’s multibillion-dollar pension and investments business.
Her work with the ORE is characterised by a strong commitment to advocating for the best financial interests of investors. This is achieved through rigorous benchmarking of service providers, independent analysis of fund performance, and thorough review and challenge of management recommendations and reporting.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Law & Arts and also a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne, specialising in financial services and superannuation. She is a practising lawyer and was a finalist in the 2016 Women In Law In-house Lawyer of the Year Award.
