Andy Young has been chief operating officer of Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) since 2018. CSC has over 100 years’ experience in providing superannuation services to employees of the Australian Government and members of the Australian Defence Force. As at 30 June 2024, CSC managed over $70billion in investments across five APRA-regulated super funds.

Andy currently has responsibility for CSC’s finance, investment services, taxation, strategy development and people functions. A Chartered Accountant by training, he has worked in the financial services sector for over 30 years in Australia and the UK. Andy enjoys building high-performing teams through empowering and developing staff, and has hands-on experience of leading major change projects and managing in high-pressure situations. Outside of work he is a keen cyclist and a more reluctant runner.
