Manager – Private Markets Risk,
QIC

Margot Jones is a manager in the risk management group of QIC, covering risk management for QIC’s private markets divisions – comprising real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include ensuring the private markets investment teams are both advised and challenged on risk management, as well as the implementation and ongoing compliance of risk management initiatives across private markets activities.

Prior to QIC, Margot was the investment manager of a series of real estate private equity funds, focusing on opportunistic and value-add real estate investments across industrial, commercial, residential and retail asset classes.

Margot has more than 20 years’ experience in funds management and analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a member of the CFA Institute.
