Sam is a responsible investment professional and senior associate at ROC Partners, a leading alternative private markets manager. Sam was previously an associate director within KPMG’s sustainability & climate risk team, where she specialised in ESG advisory services for the capital markets and assisted those who are either nascent or mature on their ESG/sustainability journey.

Sam’s role at Roc involves integrating ESG across the direct and indirect investment portfolio and driving performance improvement at an organisational level. For the direct portfolio, she works closely with the portfolio company management teams to drive ESG performance improvement and is involved in pre-acquisition due diligence. Identifying both risks and opportunities that can be managed for value creation on exit is a key focus. For indirect investments, she works with the GPs to ensure their processes are aligned with ROC’s responsible investment expectations. She is also involved in investment origination to identify impactful businesses.
