Mr. Ivey is a partner and head of Ares Americas and APAC infrastructure debt. Additionally, he serves on the Ares infrastructure debt investment committee.

Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Ivey was a partner on the infrastructure debt team at AMP Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing, arranging and managing infrastructure debt investments in the Americas.

This involved managing relationships with equity sponsors, undertaking financial structuring, coordinating detailed due diligence, industry and market analysis and obtaining investment approval.

Previously, Mr. Ivey was fund controller at AMP Capital’s Sydney office, where he was responsible for various operational aspects of its infrastructure and private equity funds. In addition, Mr. Ivey worked in chartered accounting and project finance roles in Australia and the UK.

Mr. Ivey holds a B.Com. from the University of Sydney (Australia) in Commerce. He is also is a qualified chartered accountant (Australia).
