Shaun was the head of investment operations at Telstra Super, where he led the end-to-end operational framework supporting the fund’s investment programs. With more than two decades of experience across investment operations, investment performance analytics, investment risk management and governance, Shaun oversees critical functions covering investment administration, mandate compliance, valuation governance, collateral and liquidity oversight and operational due diligence.

Since joining Telstra Super in 2015, Shaun has held senior roles spanning investment performance, risk and governance, before stepping into his current leadership position in 2022. His work centres on building robust operational processes, strengthening data and technology capabilities, and partnering closely with the CIO and investment teams to ensure disciplined, transparent, and effective implementation of investment strategy.

Prior to Telstra Super, Shaun held analytical and risk roles at Shell Asset Management, Invesco Australia and NAB Asset Servicing, developing deep expertise in unit pricing, performance measurement, attribution, investment risk and regulatory reporting.

He holds a master’s degree in finance and economics from Monash University and is also CFA charter holder.
