Matt is the head of technology strategy & architecture at AustralianSuper and has been with the fund since 2015. He is accountable for setting the fund’s overall technology strategy, enterprise architecture and technology-led innovation. Over the last eight years, Matt has led the technology direction behind the fund’s global expansion, investment internalisation and shift into the cloud.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper he spent time working in technology roles within the start-up arena and held a variety of roles at Goldman Sachs in London and New York. Additionally, Matt spent a year working in R&D for Sun Microsystems, researching distributed technologies and machine learning.

Based in Melbourne, Matt’s future focus is refreshing the technology strategy to enable AustralianSuper’s 2030 vision.
