Head of Investment Governance,
Rest

Kate joined Rest in 2023 as the head of investment governance. She is responsible for the effective and efficient design and implementation of Rest’s investment governance framework, with a focus on enabling quality investment decision-making.

Kate has over 20 years’ experience within investment risk, compliance and governance roles for investment banks, institutional asset managers and superannuation funds in the UK and Australia.

Prior to her role at Rest, Kate was the divisional risk manager for QSuper (now Australian Retirement Trust), where she worked on establishing investment governance and risk frameworks for Australia’s largest superannuation merger.

Kate holds a BA in Communications from University of Technology, Sydney and is RG146 qualified.
