David leads a global team responsible for private markets risk strategy and portfolio management across the mid-risk portfolios at AustralianSuper. These real asset portfolios span infrastructure, property and private credit.

David’s area of expertise lies in utilising his unlisted direct investment experience to enable the continued evolution of a leading private market investment risk capability. David is a member of the mid-risk portfolio leadership team and the global direct transaction committee.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper, David worked in the US and Canada, including at OMERS where he held senior executive positions across OMERS private markets and infrastructure.

David holds Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the John Molson School of Business (Canada) and the University of Western Sydney (Australia), and a Doctor of Laws from McGill University (Canada).

David has since 2017 sat on the board of directors for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation with a mandate to help persecuted and displaced LGBTI people move to safety.
