General Manager – Defensive & Liquid Assets and Portfolio Intelligence,

Jody joined Australian Retirement Trust in January 2024 and is general manager of defensive & liquid assets and portfolio intelligence. She is responsible for managing investment strategies primarily in fixed income, balance sheet, portfolio completion and opportunistic assets to contribute effectively to the total portfolio outcomes. The role is also accountable for the data and analytics framework to support investment insights and decision making and contributes to the overall management of ART’s portfolios as a senior member of the investment team.

Jody is a senior investment executive with over 25 years’ experience in investment management and business leadership roles. Prior to joining Australian Retirement Trust, Jody held the position of head of institutional portfolio management and solutions at Morningstar Investment Management. There, she developed and led their outsourced CIO capability in Australia, serving as the lead portfolio manager for Morningstar’s largest institutional and wealth management client portfolios, covering multi-asset strategies.

Jody holds a Bachelor of Economics with first class honours, majoring in Economics and Finance from the University of New South Wales. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
