Vyas currently works at Colonial First State in the investments team as director – investment risk and analytics.

Prior to joining CFS, Vyas worked at MLC as a senior risk partner within the asset management division, providing oversight, challenge, insight and advice, with a particular focus on the investment teams.

Vyas also worked at RF Capital, the private family office of the Roberts Family (the founding family of Multiplex). Vyas setup a quantitative hedge fund and was responsible for research and trading. In addition, he worked as an investment strategist covering asset allocation for the family’s investments and was responsible for a global high conviction strategy. Vyas also worked at UBS Investment Bank in the equities research division as a quantitative analyst, covering database services to clients, quantitative and index research and promoting the UBS risk system.

Vyas holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Finance from the University of New South Wales, is a CFA Charterholder and is currently studying an MBA from Macquarie University.
