Stuart joined Rimes in October 2021 following the company’s acquisition of Matrix IDM, a company founded to provide institutional investors with modern, cloud-native applications to better manage their investment data.

As global head of Rimes’ investment management platform, Stuart is responsible for orchestrating and delivering comprehensive technology and data intelligence solutions to Rimes largest clients.

For more than 20 years, Stuart has been involved as a founder, early employee, or investor in several significant fintech firms, most recently as co-CEO of Matrix. Stuart’s entire career has been based within financial services, focused on providing complex enterprise data management solutions. He has operated across Europe, North America and Asia, holding several leadership roles at companies including: IHS Markit, Livingstone Technologies, Cadis Software and Charles River Development.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) in Finance & Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
