Head of Investment Data Management and Reporting,
Aware Super

As the head of investment data management and reporting at Aware Super, Richard Sitosta brings over 20 years of extensive experience in investment data management, performance analysis, and reporting.

Richard provides leadership and direction for investment data management, data governance, and investment reporting, developing and implementing best practices to ensure the highest data quality. In this role, he also oversees the investment market data procurement and management strategy, continuously evaluating and centralising the data management function.

Richard also owns and enhances the investment data governance model and framework, offering strategic data expertise and participating in change management activities and projects. Prior to this role, Richard served as an investments specialist at Rest Super.

Before joining the asset owner space, he spent over 12 years at State Street, starting as an associate in State Street Global Services and culminating as vice president in State Street Global Exchange. At State Street, he held multiple roles and wore different hats in shared services, performance and analytics, ex-ante risk analytics, specialist sales, and data management.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with degrees in Finance and Legal Management and has over a decade of senior-level experience in the superannuation and financial service industries.
