Paula joined NZ Super in July 2021, from ASB Bank where she was the chief internal auditor. Paula has 25 years’ experience in financial services and banking, starting her career as an auditor with professional services firm Deloitte and holding various executive finance and general management roles with AMP, ANZ and ASB.

Paula is a chartered accountant, and has a BCA majoring in accounting and commercial law from Victoria University. The strategy & shared services business unit is responsible for all aspects of the finance, accounting, tax functions and strategic development for NZ Super and the funds under its mandate as well as providing internal investment management support for in-house trading. This business unit works closely with the risk, technology, data technology, legal, communications and internal audit functions, as well as with the investments and portfolio completion business units.
