Orla Cowan is Insignia’s general manager, wrap and master trust governance, with responsibility for the governance of superannuation trustee funds and the responsible entity’s IDPS platform. Her remit includes licensee and adviser governance oversight, as well as selected APRA data obligations.

With more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, Orla has held senior leadership roles across leading organisations including BlackRock Australia, Challenger Financial Services Group, Zurich Capital Markets, ANZ Wealth and ClearView Wealth, where she served as chief risk officer.

Orla has led the establishment of enterprise risk and compliance functions, overseen regulatory and board reporting, and held senior roles within investment and compliance leadership teams. Her career reflects deep expertise across wealth management, risk and compliance, investments, superannuation and governance.
