Michael is a non-executive director in the superannuation industry and has deep experience in leading superannuation funds, including as CEO of CareSuper, VicSuper and ESSSuper.

In addition he has been a fund chief operating officer with responsibility for a range of functions including technology, service centres and administration teams, and has overseen transformation projects as well as several recent fund mergers.

He is currently a non-executive director of ESSSuper, the Victorian Defined Benefit and Accumulation fund as well as IFS Ltd, a financial planning provider to several major industry funds.

Michael also has extensive experience in the banking, finance, insurance and utilities industries both in Australia and Southeast Asia.
