Michael Clavin joined Aware Super, formally known as First State Super, in 2007 with responsibility for the management and oversight of the fund’s cash, fixed income and credit exposures, currency overlays, securities finance program as well as the fund’s centralised dealing function.

Michael is also responsible for the day to day running of the fund’s internally-managed derivative overlays and cash and credit mandates.

Michael has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and prior to joining Aware Super, Michael was employed at JP Morgan as a project manager from June 2003 to 2007. His key responsibilities included successful implementation of projects relating to cash flow management, unit pricing and accounting. Michael has a Master’s degree in both Business Education and Accountancy.
