Michael has over 30 years of global experience in hedge fund management and institutional consulting roles with a focus within volatility trading, global macro and portfolio risk management.

Prior to founding Fundlab, Michael held leadership roles at Mercer Investment Consulting and actuarial risk management specialist Milliman in Australia.

Before emigrating to Australia in 2010, Michael had been a volatility and derivatives portfolio manager for hedge fund(s) and investment banks in the US and UK for 20 years.

FundLab is a business focused upon the research, development, and elevation of valuable portfolio solutions and unique alternative asset managers.

FundLab sees the world in a period of major technological, economic, and political transition, with the investment landscape shifting in ways that will make the coming years look profoundly different from the historical expectations learned over the past 30-40 years in capital markets. FundLab works with investors building more robust portfolios where the elevation of alternative ideas is timely.
