Mengsha leads the investment performance and analytics team at Cbus. She and her team are responsible for all regular investment performance reporting, providing top-down and bottom-up attributions and other analytics to investment teams, the investment committee and board on drivers of performance at various levels of the investment structures and cover a wide range of asset classes and instruments.

She led the upgrade and re-modelling of performance data, as well as building automated processes and solutions for daily and monthly performance and attribution reporting via PowerBI.

Mengsha has extensive experience in performance and attribution system implementations (previously FactSet) and recently successfully delivered the Ortec ‘PEARL’ implementation.

Before Cbus, Mengsha was the investment performance manager (performance and pricing) at HESTA and has held various senior roles across fund managers and custodian banks.

She holds a master’s degree in Applied Finance from Monash University, and a double degree in Commerce and Media Communications from the University of Melbourne. She also holds APMG certificates in Project Management and Change Management.
