Maaike is a director, portfolio design in the asset allocation team at NZ Super. Prior to joining the fund, Maaike was at ANZ Investments for nine years, taking responsibility for the management of the diversified funds across ANZ Investments, which included KiwiSaver, retail, wholesale, and private bank portfolios with a focus on both strategic and tactical asset allocation.

Prior to working at ANZ Investments, Maaike worked as strategic advice specialist at ING Investment Management, advising large Dutch pension fund clients on asset allocation, and prior to that as structured products portfolio manager for IMC Asset Management in the Netherlands.

Maaike holds a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Mathematics with first class honours from the University of Auckland and is a CFA charter holder.
