Lucy has a long career in data and analytics across multiple industries, focusing on financial services and more recently, fund management.

Previously at QSuper / Australian Retirement Trust and Funds SA, Lucy joined AustralianSuper in September 2024 as senior manager data governance partner – investments, responsible for implementing data governance and uplifting data management capability across the investment data domain.

Lucy’s passion is empowering people with information, and she believes that data is a people, rather than technology, problem. Lending this philosophy to data governance, she adopts an organisation change management approach to data best practice, advocating that the “data consumer is King” and motivating the data community with a value-orientated or ‘carrot’ approach, rather than a big stick!
