Kevin is focused on driving AI strategy across the investment processes of Pinnacle’s 19 investment affiliates and the wider Pinnacle Group. He spent the previous decade at MFS Investment Management.

His career is distinguished by a commitment to in-depth, on-the-ground research across diverse global contexts – spanning Asia-Pacific markets to the US and Europe.

He has lived and worked in Beijing, Hong Kong and Boston, and brings a nuanced understanding of global markets and cultural dynamics.

Kevin has deep expertise in corporate governance and strategy, having advised numerous listed company boards. Earlier roles include J Capital Research, where he advised hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds on China-related fraud, macro and cyclical short ideas and One Big Switch, a fast-growing internet startup.

Before that, at AMP Capital, he was one of the first Australian investors to invest directly in the Chinese A-share market. He began his career at Macquarie Group focusing on credit and country risk management.

Kevin serves on the advisory management committee of the Institute for Australian and Asian Arts and Culture at Western Sydney University. During summer he volunteers as a surf lifesaver at Dee Why Beach.
