James is the co-portfolio manager for the Schroder Australian Equities Biodiversity Strategy, with eight years’ experience as a data scientist and investment analyst.

James joined us from Drewery Capital, where he worked as a research analyst developer, building trading models and portfolio analysis tools. Prior to this, he managed data analytics as senior software developer at Southern Cross Austero. In 2011, James co-founded and was the chief technology officer of MyDeal.com.au, which was recently sold to Woolworths.

James’ area of expertise is varied across front and back-end software development, data analysis, investment analysis, as well as project management in start-ups and established organisations. James maintains coverage of the TMT sector, and has also previously covered the energy sector.
