Damien heads up performance and investor reporting for ISPT, one of Australia’s largest unlisted property fund managers, with over $21b in funds under management and investments in Australian commercial real estate and residential property.

Damien has 15 years’ experience in funds management, 11 of which have been in performance related roles with exposure to equity, fixed income, and more recently unlisted assets. Previously he held roles at Martin Currie Australia and JBWere.

Damien is currently a member of the MSCI Pooled Property Fund Indices Advisory Group. A group which provides feedback on the administration, technical specification and the rules of the MSCI/Mercer Australian Core Wholesale Property Fund Index, which is the Your Future Your Super benchmark for unlisted Australian and International property.

Damien has previously been a member of the GIPS promotion sub-committee, which serves to actively engage with GIPS standards sponsors on outreach activities. The committee participates in decisions regarding how global promotion efforts should interface with local engagement efforts, identify local market needs, collect feedback, and identify future volunteers to assist with development and promotion of the GIPS standards.

He has also volunteered with the CFA Society Melbourne and the performance analysts sub-committee, a group whose objectives included providing a link to the local market to various CFA programs and policies that are considered best practice. This includes the GIPS standards and the CIPM Program, a leading qualification for investment performance professionals.

Damien has a bachelor of finance (first class honours) from La Trobe University and a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).
