Craig Slater

Craig is a vice president in the investment risk management team within State Street Global Advisors, Australia, Limited. He is primarily responsible for examining the portfolio risk of SSGA’s funds managed in the Asia Pacific Region.
Prior to commencing his current role in May 2008, Craig worked as a portfolio manager in the asset allocation and currency group. Craig has also worked as an investment support analyst in SSGA Australia’s operations group, prior to his role as portfolio manager.
Before joining SSGA in 2003, Craig spent a total of six years working for UBS Global Asset Management in a variety of operations roles. He joined the investment management industry in March 1994.
Craig earned a Bachelors Degree in Applied Finance, a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney. Craig has earned the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation and earned a certification in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
