April Wu leads the GTM Strategy & Business Development for Colmore (from Preqin) in Asia Pacific. Colmore is a specialist portfolio monitoring and fee diligence services provider dedicated to helping LPs/allocators gain data transparency and actionable insights in the private markets industry.

Prior to establishing Colmore’s APAC presence in 2022, April spent over 12 years in the financial data & technology industry, advising asset owners and investment managers across public and private markets with front-to-back investment workflows. April started her career at Bloomberg and has held various roles including data management, business development, partnerships, and technology integrations in data & investment technology vendors. She is well-versed in discussing target operating models based on each client’s infrastructure and requirements, particularly around fitting private markets’ assets into the total portfolio.

April holds a Double Degree in Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Science (Economics) from Singapore Management University, where she graduated with Magna cum Laude.
