Adam McGuinness
Data Architect,
Future Fund
Currently providing data architecture capabilities within Future Fund in Melbourne, Adam McGuinness has worked in the data domain since the mid-90s in a variety of industries.
Over the years, observing the diverse use cases and varying levels of requirement maturity, given that information can be presented and consumed in multiple ways, Adam concludes a ‘one size fits all’ approach often leads to suboptimal, fragmented solutions, which can result in informational inconsistencies across the enterprise, and frequently contribute to an organisation’s technical debt.
Adam aims to shape the benefits of cloud technologies to deliver functional requirements through composable building blocks with the help of engineering and platform teams. Thus, enable delivery teams to independently prototype and build their solutions flexibly, whilst realising various non-functional needs relating to data governance, processing performance and platform observability.
