Nick Therkelsen is the founder of Max Kelsen, a leading AI & ML Consultancy that he established in 2015. Under his leadership, Max Kelsen grew to a team of over 50 AI professionals, serving global marquee clients such as Johnson and Johnson and Domino’s Pizza.

Nick’s career has focussed on the practical application and scaling of AI & ML solutions. He has successfully delivered over 100 AI & ML projects, with a notable specialization in Generative AI. Max Kelsen’s leading capability caught the attention of global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, leading to the acquisition of Max Kelsen in mid-2023.

Currently, Nick serves as an expert associate partner in Bain & Company’s Advanced Analytics Group, where he continues to work at the forefront of enterprise adoption of AI & ML technologies.

Mr. Therkelsen holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
