Nick joined QIC in May 2021 to head up the Corporate Risk Team whose responsibilities include maintaining QIC’s risk management frameworks and ownership of enterprise-wide risk activities including resilience, incident management and the corporate insurance program.

Nick is an experienced professional having held a wide variety of roles in the UK and Australia.  He has worked as a consultant at PwC and Deloitte where he led the delivery of risk management services from their respective Brisbane offices.  He has also held a number of positions in industry, primarily in the financial services sector across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence.

Over the last 20 years he has been involved in corporate mergers, major transformation programs and as a consultant worked with over 60 organisations in Australia to deliver risk management framework reviews and risk transformation programs.

He holds a BA(Hons) in Philosophy from University College London and is a qualified risk and internal audit practitioner.
