Paul Docherty is an experienced investment strategist who is currently head of portfolio construction and research at Rest.

He joined Rest from Spirit Super, where he was general manager of strategy and risk. Prior to working in superannuation, Paul worked as a financial economist, consulting to global sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and funds management companies.

Paul has a PhD in finance and previously worked as an academic at Monash University.
