Phil Pietersen is founder and CEO of the investment data automation platform firm AlphaCert and the technology professional services firm ClearPoint.

With experience across the entire tech industry and having worked with some of the leading companies in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, Phil successfully combines expertise in software product development and data management with business strategy particularly focussed on the investment management and financial services industries.

Under Phil’s leadership, AlphaCert has grown into a trusted, powerful enterprise data management platform, used by the region’s largest super fund, and some of the region’s high growth funds. Phil’s focus on solutions to business problems around data and evolving data ecosystems is what drives AlphaCert’s ongoing product development.

Both his passion for the role that tech plays in enabling efficient business processes, as well as his experience on the strategic benefits of enterprise scale data management architectures, means that Phil is well connected and relied upon for his expertise and understanding of the industry.
