Jason has more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. He has been with State Street in Australia for 10 years, primarily responsible for identifying, developing and coordinating the business development efforts for targeting new business opportunities across State Street’s Global Services, Global Markets and Global Exchange businesses.

Prior to now, leading the Asia Pacific sector solutions team, Jason had held the role of sector head for asset owners and official institutions leading & developing the business development strategy for this segment across Asia pacific.

Previously, Jason was also a key lead on a number of strategic initiatives that have led to the Australian business securing as clients, a number of the largest superannuation funds in Australia.

Before State Street, Jason held roles across a six-year period at Royal Bank of Canada leading the client services and service delivery teams. He was also a senior member of the leadership team.

Prior to joining RBC, Jason played a key role in the transition of business between State Street Australia and Commonwealth Custodial Services, who purchased the superannuation business from State Street back in 1998. Jason subsequently went on to hold roles within the Commonwealth Custodial Services business until 2001. Additionally, Jason has held a variety of roles within Westpac’s international business centres, focusing on trade finance and foreign exchange for major import and export clients of Westpac bank.

Jason holds a Masters of Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in New South Wales.
