Beginning his career designing aircraft control systems, Tim has spent 25 years working in financial services tech. Most of those years were in sell-side capital and derivatives order management, position keeping, execution and middle office, across Europe and Asia Pacific.

Tim moved to the buy-side a little over 6 years ago, at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, recently turning towards data mesh and data fabric concepts as a vehicle for socio-technical change.

Tim holds a B.Eng (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Loughborough University, UK, and a Grad. Dip. (Psychology) from Massey University, NZ.
