Mark Galpin is co-founder and CTO of Quadra, an open source-available platform building practical data foundations for investment organisations.

His work focuses on the structural problems that make investment platforms fragile, and how the emerging wave of technologies and techniques, such as semantic and graph-based approaches, can address them.

Prior to founding Quadra, Mark was one of the founding team behind the Matrix investment management platform (later acquired by Rimes Technologies), where he held senior roles leading professional services, solutions and delivery.

A problem-solver at heart, he has spent almost two decades working at the intersection of investment management, data and technology, always with a customer-first lens.

Mark holds a Master of Physics from the University of Oxford.
