Carol Lee joined the Future Fund in February 2024 and leads a small team with a dedicated focus on the fund’s investment risks. She sits on the agency’s investment committee, is the deputy chair of the manager review committee and is also the deputy chair of the asset review committee.

Prior to her current role, Carol spent eight years at AustralianSuper, where she held various positions that honed her expertise in capital allocation, liquidity management, and portfolio construction.

Her professional journey also includes 11 years with the Macquarie Group and three years at Allens Arthur Robinson.

Carol’s academic background includes undergraduate degrees in actuarial studies and law. She furthered her education with a master’s degree in applied finance and is a fellow of the Actuaries Institute.
