Head of Private Markets,
Aware Super

Jenny Newmarch is head of private markets at Aware Super, where she leads the investment division responsible for the fund’s private markets portfolio across private equity, infrastructure and property. In her role, Jenny oversees Aware Super’s A$47 billion private markets portfolio and is a member of the senior investment leadership team shaping the fund’s total portfolio strategy.

Prior to her appointment, Jenny served as global head of private equity at Aware Super, where she built and led teams across Australia and the UK and established the fund’s first European office in London, expanding relationships with leading managers across North America and Europe.

Jenny has more than 20 years of experience across consulting, funds management and institutional investment. Prior to joining Aware Super, she held senior roles at Macquarie Bank and ROC Partners. Jenny is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
